Two iconic symbols of empowerment, Dr. Martens are showcasing Keith Haring’s art across some of their most legendary silhouettes.
Keith Haring doesn’t need much of an
introduction; the legendary New York artist’s influence on street art is
humongous, with work in famous galleries, across city buildings and even the
Berlin Wall. Haring’s vast influence on social activism is undeniable too, much
of his work was to promote causes such as AIDS awareness.
To celebrate this icon’s creative legacy and societal impact, Dr. Martens is now promoting his art across their shoes. We are thrilled to be stocking artistic renovations of the timeless 1460 and 1461 models.
The 1460 arrives with its high-top, smooth leather design with a trusty 8-eye lacing system. Across its exterior, tonal Haring artwork features with hits of colourful detailing on the heel.
The 1461 opts for a more vibrant look, with one of the artist’s famous black and white designs printed across it, making it a must-have for any Dr. Martens collection. As always, both silhouettes come fitted with a classic air-cushioned sole for enhanced foot support.
Both boots will be available on our site from Friday 22nd January and they are priced between £130-£160.
